1950, Flower Merchants

Saigon, 1950.
Under the already hot sun, two women in áo dài hesitate in front of a flower stall : pale roses or scarlet carnations ? Around them, cyclos are parked, ready to carry away the customers’ purchases. The market is bustling, filled with laughter, haggling, and the intoxicating scent of freshly cut bouquets.
